Réalisation d'une ligne de bijoux aux angles arrondis.//Birth of his son Ito Morabito who became the famous designer Ora Ito. Coupe du Bon Goût Français. Création de la "Montre Plot" aux quatre rivets. (30 ans après sa création, la « Montre Plot » est copiée par D&G en 2006. Pascal Morabito obtient la propriété littéraire et artistique sur ce modèle, gagne le procès et fait condamner D&G à de lourds dommages et intérêts). Réalise la montre à quartz la plus plate du monde. Crée la jarretelle d’or.//Winner of the “Bon goût français” Cup. Creation of the 4-rivet “Flat” watch which is the flattest quartz watch in the world. (30 years after its creation, the 4-rivet “Flat Watch” is copied by D&G in 2006. Pascal Morabito obtains the literary and artistic property on this model, gains the lawsuit and makes condemn D&G with heavy damages. And design the gold jarretelle.

Lauréat du concours "Diamant 74". S'intéresse à la science et la technologie. Crée une collection sur la base de l'ADN : "Les molécules", 1er prix au Guide des Orfèvres. Réalise des sculptures représentant des structures moléculaires.//Winner of the competition “Diamond 74”. Lauréat du concours "Diamant 73" avec "le diamant captif". Complète ses collections de cubes en créant les multiples variables basées sur son alphabet volumique.//Winner of the competition “Diamond 73” with “Captive Diamond”. He completed his collection of cubes by creating the multiple variants based on his voluminous alphabet.

1972

Il crée son premier bijou " Le diamant captif", un diamant inclus dans du cristal de synthèse cerné d'arêtes d'or. Succès international qui lui vaut une citation dans le Grand Larousse et une présence au Musée d'Art Moderne de New York.//He created his first jewel, the “Captive Diamond” - a diamond encapsulated in synthetic crystal, with gold edges. 1971

Avec humour, alchimiste de l'esprit, il réalise une série de pendentifs en plomb, qui rigoureusement pesés, étaient vendus au prix de l'or. Il réalise ses premières pièce d'orfèvrerie libre.//In a humorous, alchemist turn of mind, he created a series of lead pendants which, carefully weighed, were sold at the price of gold. Pascal Morabito comes from a family of goldsmiths of Italian origin: his name has been handed down from father to son since 1871. He was born on 3 May 1945 in Nice.

After completing his studies in architecture, he created on 3 May 1968, in the family workshop, the first centre for artistic jewellery, named “le centre de création et d’étude du bijou contemporain ou micro-architecture”.

He designed unique pieces of “haute joaillerie” for private and international clients, including the gold “compressions” which became the “César du cinéma” trophy. Among his many friends are artists like César, Arman, Dali, for whom he has designed micro-sculptures, which were instantly successful.
